Partnership_Doing Mission Together

What is your mission? If you are a Christ-follower, there is no greater mission in your life than the Great Commission from our Lord, to make disciples. This is no easy task, even with the help of the Holy Spirit! Aren't you glad we don't have to do God's mission alone? Just as we in the local church work together, it is important to realize that other partnerships are beneficial as well.

So, we at Oakland look all around us to see where He is already moving and working in that great mission, then investigate how we may join hearts, minds, hands and feet. Pastor Adalberto Hernandez met with us recently to discuss starting a Spanish speaking, Hispanic church plant in the Monroe area. What a timely meeting, as 25% of the present population surrounding our church facilities are of that culture! Where will this lead? Stay tuned! What's next . . .
